Our Story
What began in 1985 as a modest fabric trading venture in the bustling lanes of Chandni Chowk has grown into one of Delhi’s most trusted names in women’s fashion fabrics. Our founder, MR. RAMESH KAPOOR started with just crepe rolls from Surat and a simple belief — that honesty, quality, and relationships build lasting businesses.
In 1994, the next generation stepped in. MR.SIDHARTH KAPOOR brought new vision and ambition, and by 2000, we had expanded beyond Indian markets, importing fabrics directly from China, Korea, Vietnam, Taiwan, and Japan. This bold move helped us carve a niche in women’s formal wear — with fabrics crafted for lehengas, sarees, and gowns. It was during this exciting phase that Asha Fabrics was born.
From a single-room shop with no capital to buy even one roll of fabric, we grew into a brand known across Delhi and beyond. Today, with a retail store in Delhi and a strong wholesale presence, we proudly supply fabrics to leading names in Delhi’s fashion hubs as well as tier-1 cities across India.
In 2023, the third generation joined the business with a renewed vision — to expand into new fabric segments and take the name of Asha Fabrics to every corner of India. Our goal is to make Asha not just a trusted supplier, but a household brand for every upcoming entrepreneur, retailer, and designer entering the fabric market.
